Today out in the garden, a child tried to jump across a gap between a pallet and the shed. after a couple of tries holding on to an adults hand, they managed to successfully to do it without any help.
A few of the older children came over and began to join in. We spotted a plank of wood and made a ramp with it, and all the children were able to balance their way down the plank. In the end, children from Tiger's (Toddlers), Monkey's (Hannah's Preschool) and Lion's (Jess' Preschool) all took part in the activity, with the younger children watching what the older children did and trying to copy to be able to complete their task!
This lasted for around 20 minutes, with the children all taking turns at their short obstacle course!
