This afternoon the children from the Lions and Monkeys room, were very patient and watched the crane from Fitzmaurice lift the world's biggest tote bag!
We watched the crane get prepared from the front of the nursery, and when it was time for the tote bag to be lifted we very quickly ran around to the path where we watched the tote bag get lifted! We had front row seats!
The children spoke about how high the crane went, and how big the bag was!
One of the crane men told us the bag could hold 6 Double Decker buses! The children were very curious as to how high that really was - as we got back close to 3pm we didn't get a chance to test this out! But tomorrow we are planning on measuring this out in the garden!
